JÚLIUSI MEGJELENÉSRE VÁRVA (MEGJELENÉSRE VÁRVA #8.)

Hello Molycik!
Július 3-án látott napvilágot Cassandra Calin: Still Just Kidding-jével karöltve.

Cassandra Calin’s ability to document the hilarity of relatable everyday events has made her a worldwide success and generated a huge following on social media. In this book, new fans and her huge online audience have a unique chance to see comics they know and love, as well as previously unseen comics.
Have you ever wondered how a comedy writer comes up with funny ideas and turns them into comics? In this insightful book Cassie will be telling us all about herself and showing where her ideas come from. Cassandra will even go a step further and show how she designs and illustrates her comics and makes the mundane, side-splitting in a way that is sure to put a smile on even the grumpiest of faces.

A fresh and imaginative retelling of the Rumpelstiltskin fairytale from the bestselling author of Uprooted, called „very enjoyable fantasy with the air of a modern classic” by The New York Times Book Review.
Miryem is the daughter and granddaughter of moneylenders… but her father isn't a very good one. Free to lend and reluctant to collect, he has loaned out most of his wife's dowry and left the family on the edge of poverty--until Miryem steps in. Hardening her heart against her fellow villagers' pleas, she sets out to collect what is owed--and finds herself more than up to the task. When her grandfather loans her a pouch of silver pennies, she brings it back full of gold.
But having the reputation of being able to change silver to gold can be more trouble than it's worth--especially when her fate becomes tangled with the cold creatures that haunt the wood, and whose king has learned of her reputation and wants to exploit it for reasons Miryem cannot understand.
Naomi Novik once again creates a wonderfully rich, multilayered fantasty world that readers will want to return to again and again.
A Veins of Gold borítója amúgy is nagyon bejövős.

A new historical fantasy novel from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Charlie N. Holmberg:
VEINS OF GOLD

Desperate to save her siblings from poverty, a young woman discovers magic fueled by gold . . . and a love for the man who wields it.
Abandoned by their father for the gold rush, Gentry and her siblings labor to survive alone in the inhospitable west. When bizarre natural disasters begin wreaking havoc on the land, Gentry discovers a world of magic. Desperate for help, she accepts aid from a mysterious stranger.
Winn not only sees the magic, but controls its hunger by feeding it gold—the very thing Gentry’s father left to acquire. But the earth’s unrest only grows worse, and Gentry’s fear leads her to a terrible choice: marry a wealthy man she does not love, or trust in Winn’s unpredictable power to save her family.

The #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us—whose writing is “emotionally wrenching and utterly original” (Sarah Shepard, New York Times bestselling author of the Pretty Little Liars series)—delivers a tour de force novel about a troubled marriage and the one old forgotten promise that might be able to save it.
Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.
All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?
Július utolsó napján is két könyv jelenik meg, mindkettőt szeretném a polcomon tudni, de ha választanom kellene, akkor a Sea Witch jobban megfogott mind a borítót, mind a történetét tekintve. Azért a Heart of Thorns-t sem dobnám a postásnak, ha beállítana vele.

Everyone knows what happens in the end.
A mermaid, a prince, a true love’s kiss.
But before that young siren’s tale, there were three friends.
One feared, one royal, and one already dead.

~~~~~~~~~~
Ever since her best friend, Anna, drowned, Evie has been an outcast in her small fishing town. A freak. A curse. A witch.
A girl with an uncanny resemblance to Anna appears offshore and, though the girl denies it, Evie is convinced that her best friend actually survived. That her own magic wasn’t so powerless after all. And, as the two girls catch the eyes—and hearts—of two charming princes, Evie believes that she might finally have a chance at her own happily ever after.
But her new friend has secrets of her own. She can’t stay in Havnestad, or on two legs, unless Evie finds a way to help her. Now Evie will do anything to save her friend’s humanity, along with her prince’s heart—harnessing the power of her magic, her ocean, and her love until she discovers, too late, the truth of her bargain.
The rise of Hans Christian Andersen’s iconic villainess is a heart-wrenching story of friendship, betrayal, and a girl pushed beyond her limits—to become a monster.
Fülszöveg:
In the ancient river kingdom, touch is a battlefield, bodies the instruments of war. Seventeen-year-old Mia Rose has pledged her life to hunting Gwyrach: women who can manipulate flesh, bones, breath, and blood.
Not women. Demons. The same demons who killed her mother without a single scratch.
But when Mia's father suddenly announces her marriage to the prince, she is forced to trade in her knives and trousers for a sumptuous silk gown. Only after the wedding goes disastrously wrong does she discover she has dark, forbidden magic—the very magic she has sworn to destroy.
Na és ti miket vártok júliusban?
Üdv,
