Hello Molycik!
Elég régen nem jelentkeztem már és a mostani is egy előre megírt bejegyzés, de igyekszem hamarosan visszatérni az élők közé. Most nagyjából minden szabad energiám a munka, a szakdolgozat, a Prológus és a költözés foglalja le. De azért ez nem akadályoz meg abban, hogy várjam a friss megjelenéseket. A május egyébként külföldön mindig egy dömping, itthon kevésbé, mert még rápihennek a kiadó a Könyvfesztre és felkészülnek a Könyvhétre, szóval többségében megint külföldi megjelenésekkel fogok jelentkezni.
Mivel magyar megjelenésből most kevesebb van, összesen csak 5, ezért velük kezdem, meg amúgy is a magyarokkal szoktam nyitni a sort. Május elseje van, és ma jelent meg elméletileg Boldizsár Ildikótól a Hamupipőke Facebook-profilja (gyakorlatilag elv megjelent a Könyvfeszten - szerk.), ami nagyon felkeltette az érdeklődésemet, mert pszichológia témájú. Aztán május 15-én az Agave Könyvek hozza China Miéville: A város és a város között, ami egy kicsit komolyabb hangvételű könyv mint, amiket általában olvasni szoktam, de néha muszáj a komfortzónán kívül is mozogni.

Végezetül május 28-án három újdonság is a polcokra kerül. Mindháromra fenem a fogam. Az egyik Morgan Rhodes: Lázadók tavasza, ami a Falling Kingdoms, azaz Királyok csatájának a folytatása és, amit már olvastam, de ha már megvan az első rész, akkor legyen meg a folytatás is. Egyébként a könyv nem rossz, csak kicsit lassú. Mondjuk nekem a FK is tetszett, bár a fordítással voltak problémáim, ugyanis nem mindegy, hogy valakinek elvágják a nyakát vagy csak megvágják...

Az Álomcsapdát még a külföldi megjelenésekor néztem ki magamnak, mert tetszett a borítója, a Benyák könyvet pedig az olvassunk minél több könyvet magyar íróktól projektem keretén belül szeretném olvasni.

Az SJMaas könyveim mindig hibásan érkeznek és 1-2 hónap várakozás után. Riordant már feladták több mint egy hete, jövőhéten szerintem meg is érkezik. Amit viszont nem rendeltem MÉG meg, de megfogok az egy kiegészítőkötet: Rick Riordan: Brooklyn House Magician's Manual. Riordan, tehát kell.

Imádom a retellingeket, így Danielle Teller: All the Ever Afters (The Untold Story of Cinderella’s Stepmother) c. könyve azonnal felkeltette a figyelmemet. Hamupipő mostohaanyjának története egyébként annyira nem érdekelne, de ez kifejezetten jónak hangzik. Aztán, ha nyár és vizsgaidőszak, akkor ide nekem az összes cuki és szórakoztató contemp YA-t. Állítólag Emily Wibberley – Austin Siegemund-Broka közöse az Always Never Yours pontosan ez.
A hónap egyik legjobban várt megjelenése pedig a Furyborn Claire Legrand-tól. Láttátok már a borítóját? Ha nem olvastam volna fülszöveget is akarnám azonnal. A történet egyébként YA, fantasy és reményeim szerint hihetetlenül jó lesz és nem a tipikus klisés valami. Ez is beszerzés alatt van már.

Utolsó két könyv következik, amelyek május 29-én jelennek meg. Egynek elment, de nem kaptam el a hangulatát a könyvnek. A másik pedig Jay Kristofftól Lifel1k3. A sci-fi ugyan nem az én műfajom, de Kristoff egyszer már meggyőzött, hogy akár szerethetem is, méghozzá az Amie Kaufmannal írt közösében az Illuminaeben. Ez lesz a második próbája.
